A Blueprint for a Better District 4

WE need a Champion. As your next City Council member, I plan to be just that. Help me to Restore Atlanta's District 4 to prominence and excellence. District 4 deserves more. Here is my Blueprint for a Better District 4.

INVESTING
IN OUR
CHILDREN
  • Create workforce opportunities and Career Access Pathways Partnerships with local business

  • Break the school to prison pipeline by providing safe after school, mentorship, and internship opportunities for our children

  • Bridge the gap to resources that are available through the city and utilizing city owned spaces as educational pods or after school sites

MAINTAINING
SAFE & INVITING
NEIGHBORHOODS
  • Invest in community policing programs and neighborhood safety patrols

  • Develop coordinated public safety plans for our communities

  • Provide safe and accessible sidewalks, functional street lighting, driveable streets, and accessible broadband.

  • Develop community plan to address neighborhood blight, code enforcement, and transportation issues

BUILDING
AFFORDABLE
HOUSING
  • Build more stable and diverse housing in our communities

  • Build more affordable housing for the community and for more workforce housing incentives so that our working class can live in the communities where they work

  • Develop a City of Atlanta housing affordability plan that’s based on all ages, demographics, income levels including the unsheltered population

DEVELOPING
OUR
WORKFORCE
  • Partner with community and business leaders to provide a business-friendly environment to create more economic opportunities.

  • Advocate for minority, black and woman owned businesses to participate in all new developments that receive tax incentives or procured through the City of Atlanta

  • Develop a local jobs hiring program within a 2-5 mile radius of any new development in our communities.
